HOME OF THE HANDLEBAR WHISKEY

Sweet. Biteless. An all-night sipper. Find our recipes at a liquor store near you or stop-by our distillery in Akron and join us for a taste.

White Corn Whiskey

Our first signature recipe is un-aged, and therefore doesn’t spend any time in the barrel before it’s bottled. Made of 70% corn, 20% rye, 5% barley and 5% wheat this locally handcrafted modern moonshine is a sweet, easy sipper.

Tasting Room

The Old Scotland Road Distillery sits on land that has been in the Hyder family for three generations in the small town of Akron, NY. Visit us in the heart of rural, Western New York for a glass of fine white corn whiskey and open country air.

Recipe Driven by Real Ingredients

After two weeks of fermentation, an all-natural heat/cooling cycle and many long hours of distilling, this sweet 90 proof liquid is hand bottled and poured. Calling on the days of prohibition, we’ve mastered the art and chemistry of this beautiful process.

Small Batches. Real Flavor.

Made in small, handcrafted batches, our New York sourced grains are carefully combined to produce a truly fine spirit. With a nose, flavor and finish as bold as the distiller’s signature moustache, this Whiskey is sure to intrigue you each time you raise a glass.
